If you are a huge fan of racing games, you’ll be happy to hear one of the most iconic racing franchises is coming to smartphones.
Forza Street is coming to all smartphone users who are currently on Android, iOS and is currently available on Windows Mobile users. The game is set in the city of Miami.
One of the cool features that are coming to the game is an Endless Story. This will consist of weekly new content, giving players the opportunity to be ready to take on fresh events, stories, and challenges with each update. On top of that players will be able upgrade their rides, giving them the perfect chance to power of their lineup to take on more challenging and more lucrative events.
Forza Street will feature a great line up of performance cars, icons from street and showroom, players will be able to collect cars from a list that’s constantly growing. The game is set in Miami after all, so players can expect quick, point to point races that place focus on you and your opponent as you speed through twisting neon streets.
The last Forza Motorsport video game I played was “Forza Motorsport 6” and here’s what I had to say about it:
Forza Motorsport 6 ticks a couple of boxes in the visual department and it’s the first time in the franchisers history where gamer’s can race in the rain or partake in nights races. Day races are a thing of beauty and from time to time you are caught starring at the sunset instead of focusing on what’s happening on the track. The night races are as equally enjoyable as the day races and the developers of the game have replicated the race tracks beautifully because on race circuits like the Nürburgring where there’s no light on the other side of the circuit and the main straight is the brightest part of the circuit and you notice the sudden change in light when you are racing. Racing in the wet is a completely new experience and if you use the cockpit view, you can see the rain drops fall on the widescreen and being swept by the air as your car drives at a high speed .
The car loses a bit of control when you hit a water puddle and requires you to counter steer in order to regain control but the water puddles always appear in the same places making them easy to avoid and the rain falls at a constant pace which makes things a bit boring after driving in the rain a couple of times. I would have loved to see a sudden change in the weather during a race, causing everyone on the track to rush to the pits and put on a set of tires that are suitable for racing in wet conditions.
Forza Motorsport 6 has over 400 cars to choose from and its single player mode is the best I’ve ever played. It gets a 9/10 and it’s available on the Xbox One.
