Apple Arcade, no ads, just games.

During the Apple Event that took place yesterday, Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled a new Apple Arcade game subscription service.

This gaming service is going to be subscription based and won’t require Apple device users to stream games. To date more than 1 billion people have downloaded games in the App Store. At launch the service will have more than 100 games exclusive to Apple users.

Apple users will be able to download games straight from the App Store, play them and continue their progress on any Apple device. Apple Arcade will launch on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The cool thing about Apple Arcade is that all of the game features, content, and future updates will be included, and there will be no ads shown within the games.

According to the Apple Arcade website, here’s a list of games coming to the subscription service:

  • Where Cards Fall
  • The Pathless
  • LEGO Brawls
  • Hot Lava
